I felt my vocal chords weakening
I felt my concave thoughts
I felt my voluntary blindness
For staring straight into the sun
The romantic air of your eye patch
Called me across the room
I clung there and I danced with your silent
Admired your divine tattoos
We slept in the shadow of a cedar tree
We made love on the rising tide
We smelled the perfume of the waxing moon
We dreamt of all friendships kind
We touched the blood of the black cat
We pet the mammoth dog of tears
In the flickering light we were laughing
"Necessity conquers fear!"
Don’t lose yourself
Don’t let yourself be lost
Don’t lose yourself
Don’t let yourself be lost
Dreaming we were stones in black stillness
Dreaming of the death of the sun
Waking to a world of white blindness
Painted eyes of the holy ones
The death of the word was upon us
And the discipline of the wind
We see less and less all the time, dear
Just look at this mess we are in
Don’t lose yourself
Don’t let yourself be lost
Don’t lose yourself
Don’t let yourself be lost
Staring at the entrance to the mine
I prayed for your wounds to close
Tiger ointment and a cosmic collision
And the crucifixion of the rose
Don’t lose yourself, don’t lose yourself…
Don’t lose yourself
Don’t let yourself be lost
Don’t lose yourself
Don’t let yourself be lost...

I love you so much.
The last 30 seconds pretty much killed me dead. I've rarely seen effects used so well, so to the point. Also! Laura Veirs! I adore her. What a fantastic song choice it is for the story you've told.
Oh Donna.
That was very good. Thank you! *cries*
Turn left, Donna! TURN LEFT!
I feel as though I should alter this icon so it says something like "you > all" because that vid brought a lump to my throat. I thought it was cut with wit and velocity and structured brilliantly, from the set-up in the first bars to Donna's narrative in the first verse, then Donna's first loss of her life in "Turn Left", then the brilliance of the final section where you use effects to show the real loss in Journey's End.
While I am clinging on to rumour, hope and Catherine Tate's utter lack of any answer one way or the other on Radio 4 this week that this is the end for Donna, if it is, this is a gorgeous meditation on her time. Thank you
Thank you.
Granted, I'm a ball of raging pms, but you just made me cheer and bawl like a baby within the span of the vid. I am incoherent with vid-love and unable to say anything intelligent.
That was perfect! Oh Donna!
This vid is absolutely brilliant.

Thank you.
Also - CKR is hot!
