one dot, that's on or off
defines what is and what is not, one dot
two dot, a pair of eyes, a voice, a touch
complete surprise, two dot

growing up, growing up,
looking for a place to live
growing up, growing up
looking for a place to live
growing up, growing up,
looking for a place to live

my ghost likes to travel so far in the unknown
my ghost likes to travel so deep into your space

three dot, a trinity
a way to map the universe
three dot
four dot, is what will make a square
a bed to build on, it's all there
four dot

well on the floor there's a long wooden table
on the table there's an open book
on the page there's a detailed drawing
and on the drawing is the name i took

my ghost likes to travel so far in the unknown
my ghost likes to travel so deep into your space

growing up, growing up,
looking for a place to live
growing up, growing up
looking for a place to live
growing up, growing up
looking for a place to live
growing up, growing up
looking for a place to live

the breathing stops, i don't know when
in transition once again
such a struggle getting through these changes
and it all seems so absurd
to be flying like a bird
when i do not feel i've really landed here

I enjoyed that a lot - it really captured the horror of their life.

I was pointing here from yourlibrarian's LJ. What a wondeful vid! I love the song choice. I thought the clips you choose for both times the refrain played were very appropriate, and I liked how John was introduced with the words "three dot" and Mary made her debute on "four dot". Nice touch.

My head hurts too much for intelligent commentary, but I loved this. You are awesome. I've been having all these thinky thoughts about the nature of evil in the SPN universe (and many other fictional universes) and why I struggle so to reconcile that with my own ideas of what constitutes evil, and so many things about this vid resonated with me in that regard. It was actually a relief to watch it, because I found myself nodding and saying, "Yes. That."

Also, pretty. :D

I love this vid. I frequently find myself at a loss leaving vid feedback because I don't have the vocabulary to discuss them that I wish I had, but this was very, very well done. I like the song choice a lot.

Finally got a chance to watch this... *Really* enjoyed it. I love the energy of it, you've got clips and music matched perfectly and it's just a gorgeous vid.
Thanks for sharing!

All the motion and movement is so amazing and beautiful. The on beat editing and pacing is fantastic. It's a giant ball of Supernatural awesomeness. (Yes, I do speak intelligently.)

I really liked this -- I've always loved the song but never read the lyrics, and I thought the use of the numbers was wonderful. The colors worked really well, and the clip choices went beyond the really familiar ones in ways that I enjoyed and found evocative.

Fantastic! I really admire your musicality and the extraordinary work you did with timing and movement.

Good lord I love the way you vid. :}

I could go through every clip in this vid and gush about it. I mean, most of it would be "because it's !!!", but there isn't one wasted frame in this. Guh, the movement, the themes, their faces, those inverted flashes, the pacing, just--!!!! It's like SPN adrenalin and heroin in one fantastic hit.

This is *awesome*. It's easy to get sort of blasé about the violence in the show, but it's really visceral here, which is great. And I love the way you hit the same images over and over - the journal, the guns, the car, and you get that sense of their lives being an endless roadtrip of fire and death. I also really love that shot of their two shovels hitting the dirt, for some reason - that's a quintessential Sam & Dean moment even though we can't see them. And yay for the first vid I've seen with new flashback footage! :)

Terrific vid, you've captured both the difficulty of their lives and how they've changed over the seasons. Great character portraits of Sam, Dean, and Sam & Dean.

Quite possibly the best vid I've ever seen. Perfect, seemless editing and amazing symbolism. So much wow.

Okay, there's a REASON it took me two weeks to finally be able to watch this, and it involves my shoddy sound driver. But holy shit, was this worth the wait. DAMN.

You know I'm not fannish about SPN (though I've seen every ep, because they're there. And pretty.) but this vid just grabbed me right from the start with that book being dropped on the beat. Damn, girl. This vid moves. I love your brain. This vid is deep fried in your style, and god, it's SO GOOD. Especially the first minute or so, which absolutely blew me away. This doesn't look like any SPN I've seen (and I usually feel like all SPN vids look more or less the same. Except Windowsill. And now this.) I'm beyond impressed. Seriously. How are there not 200 comments on this post?

Jarrow showed this to me last night and WOW. That was amazing. When the two shovels landed in the dirt I felt like my heart started speeding up, and when we watched the first minute again immediately after it was over, I noticed the book kicking everything into action. I love the repeated use of the gun/bullets and how spectacularly timed everything was.

OMG THE SHOVELS. Totally my favorite part.

Oh, wow. Amazing, amazing editing - I have a very hard time watching a lot of videos because they don't correspond to the music that well, but everything in this lined up perfectly. Great choice of clips, great song, great everything.

I just made a big Supernatural vid rec post in my journal and included both this and Windowsill, both of which I just can't stop watching. Thank you so much for sharing your work; it is stunning!!!

I love your use of movement in this vid to a ridiculous degree. I've recommended it over here as well. Keep it up!

I'm late commenting, but just wanted to say that I've seen many SPN vids over the last few weeks and this one is my favorite.
